FRANCE has a multi-party political system, that is to say one in which the number of competing political parties is sufficiently large as to make it almost inevitable that in order to participate in the exercise of power any single party must be prepared to negotiate with one or more others with a view to forming electoral alliances and/or coalition agreements. It is difficult for parties outside the two major coalitions to make significant inroads, although the National Front has had sizable successes...

René DOSIERE is a Member of the National Assembly of France. He represents the 1st constituency of the Aisne department and during all his political life was too much of a free spirit inside the Socialist Party where he was very criticized and not really supported. He is best known for his many questions to the government regarding the expenses of the services of the French Presidency. Not being candidate for the 2017 parliamentary elections, this Book comes well in line of feeling free of speech and to be able to intervene in the presidential campaign... (Review by Ruby BIRD)
