The Salzburg Mozarteum Foundation was created by the citizens of Salzburg and is rooted in the Cathedral Music Association and Mozarteum of 1841. This is an non-profit organisation concerned with the person and work of Wolfgang Amadé Mozart. His heritage is preserved in two Museums : Salzburg Mozart's Birthplace and Mozart Residence.
Since 1956, the Foundation organises a series of concerts every January around the time of Mozart's birthday and the «Mozart Week» is a major artistic event in the Internationally renowned for its diverse interpretations of Mozart which can be heard during around 10 days.

This concert series invites visitors from around the world to rediscover Mozart's work from ever-changing perspectives and to hear them anew.
Two concerts series will take place from September 2015 to June 2016. : «Chamber Music in the Great Hall» and «Chamber Music in the Viennese Hall». The audience will be presented with highly established chamber musicians as well as «rising stars».
The Festival «2015 Dialogues» will be held on November 25-29 and will be hosting numerous great artists and will combine elements of arts, dance and light with classical contemporary music.
