The Arab world is today torn by tragedies whose intensity preoccupies almost observers and media. But the Arab world is not just a deadly region. It is a place of creation, where people are inventing a better future. Transformation continues to take place, spurred by millions of people working to innovate in all fields of public life.

Europe, every passing day, is becoming a major place for ideas and exchange, a space for reflexion for all stakeholders concerned with the future of the region.
It is more than ever important to get to the heart of the issue now. We have to look beyond the dramatic incidents found in the day's news to study the essential realities of societies undergoing transformation. We have to hear from those whose voices are muffled by the sound of current events, the voices of the creators, thinkers, stakeholders and committed citizens.
Encouraging the creation of business in the Arab world is a challenge for both project holders and investors. Financing problems are often an obstacle to developing the local and regional level. Overcoming this obstacle would open investment perspectives in the region. The number of new businesses today is insufficient and those that do exist have little opportunity to develop in a sustainable manner. It is absolutely necessary to boost the savoir-faire and managerial skills of the young Arabic people if they are going to convince investors and thus access credit and create the jobs of tomorrow.
In the Arab world, the proportion of young people in the population is higher than anywhere else in the world. This demographic challenge calls for innovative solutions designed to meet the expectations of this new generation. It is important to increase existing facilities in the educational field as well as to create the necessary conditions for a successful, sustainable educational project. The young people would be able to undertake, innovate and create wealth in order to meet challenges inherent in their region.
